Come Home is a television drama mini series developed by Red Production Company and broadcast on BBC which was filmed on location throughout various parts of Belfast.

Synopsis

In the 3 part mini series drama, Greg (Christopher Eccleston) and Marie (Paula Malcomson) have been married for 19 years. Marie suddenly makes the decision to walk out of the marriage leaving Greg struggling to hold his family of three children together.

What would make a mother take such a shocking and significant decision as to leave her children - a decision that will change the lives of her family and splinter the bonds of their loyalties forever.

The mini series debuted on BBC One, March 27 2018.

Film Location

Red Production Company utilised several loactions around Belfast, including the Tullycarnet Primary School.

The school, since its closure in 2017, had been repurposed and managed by Tullycarnet Community Support Services Ltd to facilitate many of their projects and outreach programmes throughout the Tullycarnet area.

We were privileged to play a small part by providing scene locations for the production company of the mini series.

The cast and crew of Come Home met our staff and we watched as they built the living room and dining room sets for the mini series within the school assembly hall.

Christopher Eccleston was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in the 2019 International Emmy Awards for the Red Production Company/BBC drama mini series, Come Home.
